Derek & Shi Min

Shi Min & Derek came to us with a unique colour palette of peach, cream, khaki, green and blue; we could almost immediately identify with the vintage whimsical feel they liked! Imagine flags, fabric rosettes, twine, chalkboard, tin pots, beige lace…just some of the details we infused to portray the thematic feel.

We literally fell in love with the quaint colonial setting and lush greenery at Burkhill Hall, a perfect location for all things whimsical! And of course, it was heart-warming that the couple and their guests loved our creations, what more could we ask for? Thank you, Shi Min & Derek, for your trust and belief in us!

Scrap a Guestbook album!

Our client requested for two guest albums that guests can sign-in for their 10th year Anniversary celebrations.

The 10 layouts with the album cover (above) are more of an ecclectic style while the other 10 layouts and album cover (below) are designed according to a children’s style with more usage of primary colours.

All papers and embellishments supplied by client
Check out our other handmade scrapbook items or view larger images of these layouts at our facebook page!

The lovely couple 🙂

How cute! This sporty couple requested for orange bridal bouquet & a matching groom’s boutonniere.

We also co-ordinated the colours for their bridal car decor to suit their orange theme.

We customized a guest sign-in accordion style album for the couple’s guests to pen down their best wishes to the couple.

Top: Outer cover of the album

Bottom: First page of the album includes a caricature (artistically done by the groom’s friend!) of the couple & a love poem

We LOVE SCRAPBOOKING! Look out for more of our art pieces…

Till the next post,

Goodnight & Sweet dreams!

To have-and-to FOLD

Being the scrapbook enthusiasts we are, we’re thrilled to find such a simple yet great idea  (via here!) for brides and grooms to DIY. One can co-ordinate the overall wedding decor with personalized placemats for their guests. What an ingenious idea to cut a triangle-shaped pop-out on the top right hand corner of the scrapbook placemat to replace a name placecard!

But of course, such personalized touches work better in small, cosy and intimate weddings.

Places where you can get these pattern papers from:

  • Laines Papeterie (Wheelock Place)
  • Made with Love (Plaza Singapura)
  • Paper Market (Raffles city shopping centre, Plaza Singapura)

We hope that you’ll discover more pretty stuff as you visit these mega scrapbook stores! Get ready to spend hours “Ooh-ing & Aah-ing” over the numerous scrapbook collections *wink*

Till the next post,

Cheerios
